2023 Circle of Harmony HIV/AIDS Wellness Conference
Cultivating Biomedical Practices to Advance Health Equity
Albuquerque, NM - April 25-27, 2023

The Circle of Harmony HIV/AIDS Wellness Conference (COH) is a unique event. It is the only conference of its kind devoted to addressing HIV/AIDS prevention and substance abuse prevention from a distinctly Native American perspective. COH is coordinated by the Albuquerque Area Indian Health Board’s Community Health Education and Resiliency Program with input from experts in the field of HIV and members of the National Native HIV Network.

The 2023 conference is moving back to an in-person format and will take place April 25-27, 2023 at the Sandia Casino and Hotel in Albuquerque, NM. The theme is “Cultivating Biomedical Practices to Advance Health Equity” in recognition of the national discussions on the Ending the HIV Epidemic initiative and National HIV/AIDS Strategy, with a focus on the Indigenous HIV/AIDS Syndemic Strategy and the shift to biomedical strategies to prevent HIV. Our agenda will highlight best practices for implementing PrEP navigation, medication as prevention, and other biomedical strategies for advancing health equity.
